Orenburg Lace Scarf 着手

ようやく　Orenburg Lace Scarf　に着手しました。

左がシャボン玉の詩で、右が今回編み始めたもの。どちらもUS２(2.75mm)号針です。
左はJamieson & Smith 1 ply cobweb、右はJamieson & Smith 1ply supreme。
supremeはcobwebの方よりさらに細く少し毛足があって、1ply cobwebより難易度高いです。
色味も右側のsupremeの方が黄色みがかっています。

cobweb 1/14.5 100g あたり1450m
supreme 1/16 100gあたり1600m

This yarn was developed with Shetland Museum and Archives as part of the Shetland Fine Lace Project. The yarn is worsted spun from the natural, undyed colours of pure bred Shetland Sheep to replicate the handspun yarns used in the finest Shetland lace items of the 1800s, such as Queen Victoria’s stockings and items displayed at world exhibitions.

supremeの方は、Shetland Museum and Archivesで、Shetland Fine Lace Projectのために開発されたとあります。そして worsted spun from the natural, undyed colours of pure bred Shetland Sheep。染色していないから、黄色みがかった自然の色なのですね。

パターンについて。
Hole-based chartもあるけど、通常のchartもちゃんとあります。
chartパターンが６ページ、フォトチュートリアルが正味９ページほどあるので、なんとかできそうな気がします。

長方形のscarfです。
１：下の短辺の縁編み
２：センターパネルとその左右の縁編みを同時に
３：上の短辺の縁編み
このような手順になります。

これは以前に編んだROWAN Anice Shawlと同じです。
数少ない経験から掘り出してくると。
